Design Review Panel
The City of Vaughan Design Review Panel is a non-statutory, advisory body of design professionals with architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and engineering expertise to advise City staff on matters of design that affect the public realm, including proposed buildings, structures, landscape and associated streetscapes, in order to promote and uphold standards of design excellence in the City of Vaughan.

Process
During the development application process, projects are reviewed twice as follows:
1) First Review (schematic design):
Scheduled at the pre-consultation stage during the initial functional design of the project to afford the possibilities of significant changes, if needed.
2) Second Review (detailed design):
Scheduled following revisions having been made to the development proposal or project. Intended to contribute to the detailed design process.

Meeting Schedule, Agendas and Minutes
The Design Review Panel is scheduled to meet the last Thursday of every month on the dates listed below. Meetings are open to the public and are located in Committee Room 243 at Vaughan City Hall, 2141 Major Mackenzie Drive.
