City of Vaughan’s Black History Month Event

 

The City of Vaughan joins the national celebration of Black History Month, a time to honour and recognize the extraordinary contributions and achievements of Black Canadians.

Join us for an unforgettable celebration, featuring Afro-Caribbean and urban dances, a drum performance, complimentary food, Mayor and Members of Council remarks, vendor booths and more as we honour the profound impact of Black Canadians on our past, present, and future.

You’re invited to the City of Vaughan’s Tamil Heritage Month event!

Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council, together with the Vaughan Tamils’ Heritage and Cultural Organization, invite you to join them to mark Tamil Heritage Month and Thai Pongal at the City of Vaughan’s third annual celebration. The event will take place on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. in the Maple High School cafeteria (50 Springside Rd.). Doors open at 5 p.m.
