Fulfill our 'wildest dreams' by joining us as we kick off the summer with live music and fun! 

 

The City of Vaughan’s 30th annual Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park series starts tomorrow, Wednesday, June 12, with Taylor’s Story – Tribute to Taylor Swift in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. At the launch concert, 1,000 free friendship bracelets will be handed out (one per person), while quantities last.

Learn more about Algoma and Nashville parks – coming soon!

Two new neighbourhood parks are coming to the Nashville-Kleinburg community in Ward 1 – and you’ve helped design them! 

 

The future Algoma Park will be located at 42 Algoma Dr., and the future Nashville Park will be at 639 Barons St. These two parks will be built less than one kilometre away from each other, which provides the opportunity for the City to construct them with complementary amenities.

Do you know why it’s important to protect pollinators? Birds, bees, butterflies, bats and beetles sustain the environment through pollination and are vital to our ecosystem. In fact, you may be surprised to learn pollinators are responsible for one out of every three bites of food we eat. 

 

In honour of National Pollinator Week – which has been proclaimed from Monday, June 17 to Sunday, June 23 – the City of Vaughan is encouraging you to get involved! Here are three things you can do:
