In case you forgot, the City of Vaughan’s Double-Up Days are this week or next week – depending on your regularly scheduled collection day. If you have extra garbage to offload, you can place up to six garbage items curbside, and no paid tags are required.

The City of Vaughan’s 30th annual Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park series starts tomorrow, Wednesday, June 12, with Taylor’s Story – Tribute to Taylor Swift in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. At the launch concert, 1,000 free friendship bracelets will be handed out (one per person), while quantities last.

Two new neighbourhood parks are coming to the Nashville-Kleinburg community in Ward 1 – and you’ve helped design them!
The future Algoma Park will be located at 42 Algoma Dr., and the future Nashville Park will be at 639 Barons St. These two parks will be built less than one kilometre away from each other, which provides the opportunity for the City to construct them with complementary amenities.
