Water Play and Splashpads
The City of Vaughan has splashpads and water play areas located inside community parks. The size of each splashpad varies between parks, with larger and more complex water play areas found in district parks.
Splashpads Closure Updates.
Splash pads are open for operation.
Hours of operation: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Garnet A. Williams Splash Pad is scheduled for a temporary closure on June 18, 2026, weather permitting. Please note that the closure date is subject to change.
The following splashpads will be CLOSED:
- Maple Airport Park
- Glen Shields Park
The following splash pads will be OPEN and OPERATIONAL; however, the spray elements listed below are non-functional:
- Matthew Park
- Multiple spray elements are currently shut off, though several features remain in use.
- Sonoma Heights Community Park
- Jelly Fish (red and orange)
- Eyeballs
- Bubbler
- Anthony Locilento Park
- Moon feature
- Mackenzie Glen District Park
- Frog Feature
- Quadruple Sprayer
- Mapes Park
- 1 Floor Spray Element
- McClure Meadows Park
- 1 Floor Spray Element
- Overhead spray element
