It’s that time of year! The City of Vaughan’s 2026 Waste Collection Schedule is now available online, with the print version headed to your mailbox in early December!

Visit vaughan.ca/WasteCalendar to view or download the full digital schedule. There, you will also find personalized calendars for your neighbourhood and high-contrast versions that are easy to read.

What’s inside the 2026 Waste Collection Schedule?

Keep it handy or post on your fridge or garage wall to ensure you always have the information you need.

New for 2026, you’ll find an additional section on the Province of Ontario’s new recycling program, which transitions this responsibility away from municipalities like Vaughan to an organization called Circular Materials as of Jan. 1, 2026.

This section includes everything you need to know about the new program, including:

  • contact information for inquiries about recycling collection, including missed pickups, schedule changes and damaged bins. Starting Jan. 1, 2026, those calls will go to Miller Waste Systems by phone at 1-855-752-3762 or by email at area10@millerwaste.ca.
  • where to find a full list of what items will be accepted.
  • information about Circular Materials, the organization that has overall responsibility for recycling collection.

Also in the 2026 Waste Collection Schedule, you’ll find information about leaf and yard waste collection, Double-Up and Curbside Giveaway Days, Christmas tree collection, garbage tags,  green bins and so much more.

Fun fact: the 2026 Waste Collection Schedule is made from 100 per cent recycled material!
