Co-ordinated emergency exercise taking place tonight at Lebovic Campus

Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service (VFRS) is dedicated to providing efficient emergency response, and fire protection, prevention, safety and education to those who live, work and visit the city. Tonight at 5:30 p.m., VFRS will participate in a planned, coordinated, police-led exercise with York Regional Police and Toronto Police. This exercise will also include our partners from York Regional Paramedic Service. There will be no risk to the public.

The simulation will take place at the Lebovic Campus located at 9600 Bathurst St. There will be large police and first responder presence. You may see flashing lights, many uniformed first responders and a helicopter over the immediate vicinity.
