Service Vaughan expands online options for road and traffic-related permit requests
The City of Vaughan’s website is your one-stop-shop for City services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Now, that includes additional road and traffic-related services through Service Vaughan!
The following road and traffic-related services are now available online:
Municipal consent applications: Apply if you are looking to install permanent utility equipment (like cables or pipes) under or along City roads.
On-street parking permits: Purchase select parking permits online or submit a request for City staff to review your street and determine if it is eligible for on‑street parking.
Road closure permits: Propose construction activity that requires a full closure along a City road.
Road occupancy permits: Apply to do any work happening within a City road. This helps keep everyone safe, track potential damages and ensures traffic continues to move smoothly.
Streetlight relocations: Request to move a streetlight (fees apply).
Traffic data requests: Purchase traffic information the City has already collected.
To submit these requests online, visit vaughan.ca/ServiceVaughan.
Through the City’s online self-service portal, you can also apply for a job; register for recreation programs; report missed waste collection; report road maintenance issues, including potholes; pay parking tickets; apply for building/engineering permits; report litter/graffiti; request tree pruning and shrub maintenance; request park or splashpad maintenance; buy a new green bin and so much more.
