Rêve and Maestro Fresh Wes to headline Vaughan’s Canada Day celebration!

Come celebrate Canada’s 159th birthday with us!
Gather your friends and family and join us on Wednesday, July 1 for a Canada Day to remember with an exciting lineup of FREE entertainment and activities all day long, including special headline performances by JUNO award-winners Rêve at 6 p.m. and Maestro Fresh Wes at 5:10 p.m.
The City of Vaughan’s annual, award-winning Vaughan Celebrates Canada Day event is taking place at North Maple Regional Park (11085 Keele St.) from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with event sponsor Tim Hortons and will include a spectacular lineup of live entertainment, activities, midway rides, free giveaways while supplies last and much more. Food trucks selling delicious eats will be on site so you can snack all day. You can also explore the business zone and marketplace with vendors selling or showcasing their products and services.
Stage entertainment will start at 1 p.m. followed by an official welcome from Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council at 5 p.m.
This year’s exciting entertainment includes:
- Rȇve
- Maestro Fresh Wes
- The Springcreek dancers and singers
- Fireside Munsch Stories
- Neel Dani
- The Eyrie: Birds of Prey
- Project Pheonix
There will also be many free activities for people of all ages to enjoy, including:
- arts, crafts and interactive activities
- axe throwing (for ages 18 years and older)
- free giveaways (while supplies last)
- glitter tattoos and colouring murals
- gym bus and sensory bus
- midway rides and an inflatable slide
- ping-pong and foosball tables
- recreation activities
- sports games
- stilt walkers and strolling entertainment

Ride the shuttle bus for FREE!
There is no on-site parking available at the event. You can park-and-walk from St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Elementary School (131 Ravineview Dr.), however, there are limited parking spots available.
What’s the best way to get to the event? Ride the FREE shuttle bus with service running to and from North Maple Regional Park at the following locations:
Maple Community Centre (10190 Keele St.)
St. Joan of Arc CHS (1 St Joan of Arc Ave.)
Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.)
VMC Library (100 Apple Mill Rd.) *paid parking
Shuttle buses will run approximately every 30 minutes from noon to 8 p.m. so you can come at any time and stay for all the fun! The final pick up to go to North Maple Regional Park is at 6 p.m.
