His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo to attend the City’s Nativity Scene Display and impart a special blessing
You’re invited to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas at the official recognition of the City of Vaughan’s Nativity Scene Display, featuring a special blessing from His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo – Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto and a member of the College of Cardinals, appointed by Pope Francis in 2024.
Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 9 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.) for official remarks, music, refreshments and a special blessing.
If you are unable to join us at the event, we welcome you to come by Vaughan City Hall to visit the nativity scene, which will be on display for the duration of Advent – from Sunday, Nov. 29 until the Epiphany on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2027 – during regular business hours (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Please note, Vaughan City Hall will be closed from noon on Thursday, Dec. 24 until Friday, Jan. 1, 2027.
Pre-registration for the event on Wednesday, Dec. 9 is encouraged. Confirm your attendance for the event online.
