Italian flair filled the air in Vaughan this weekend! On June 6 and June 7, Boyd Conservation Park came alive as more than 30,000 residents and visitors gathered to soak up the sights, sounds and flavours of the City of Vaughan’s Festa d’Italia. From mouth-watering food and lively music to vibrant entertainment and community spirit, this weekend was truly one for the books.

“It was wonderful to see such an overwhelming turnout for Festa d’Italia 2026! This annual celebration reflects the vibrant Italian culture that is an important part of Vaughan’s identity,” said Mayor Steven Del Duca.

“With outstanding live music and entertainment – including fantastic performances by our headliners Pupo & Band and Joe Avati – delicious food and a variety of local vendors, this year’s event was bigger, better and a true celebration of Italian heritage, community and connection. Thank you to my Council colleagues, local leaders, City of Vaughan staff, our event partners, vendors, sponsors and volunteers for making Festa d’Italia 2026 such a resounding success. I’d also like to thank everyone who joined us from across Vaughan and beyond for bringing your energy, warmth and spirit to Boyd Conservation Park. It was truly the highlight of my year. I look forward to celebrating with all of you next June. Happy Italian Heritage Month, and grazie mille!”

Festa d’Italia, presented by LiUNA! Local 183, honoured and commemorated the richness of Italian art, heritage and culture. Festivities included greetings from Mayor Del Duca and Members of Council, headline performances by Pupo & Band and Joe Avati, a variety of interactive family-friendly activities and so much more.
