Let’s go, Team Canada! Following another incredible win on June 28, the City of Vaughan is proud to host another viewing party on Saturday, July 4 at 1 p.m. at Transit Square in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (100 New Park Pl.). 

 

The game will be streamed rain or shine. Admission is FREE and free parking is available at 3200 Highway 7, starting at noon. You’re encouraged to represent Team Canada or other countries or teams with jerseys, flags and more. 

 

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. To ensure a comfortable experience, attendees are encouraged to bring their own outdoor chairs.

 

Bring your energy, pride and passion for the game as we come together to cheer, celebrate and be part of an unforgettable moment in soccer history. Let’s make some noise, Vaughan!

Tips to beat the heat

Things are heating up in Vaughan! Here are some tips to help you beat the heat when spending time outdoors:

  • Drink water every 15 to 20 minutes, even if you’re not thirsty.
  • Dress in light-coloured, loose-fitting clothing that covers as much skin as possible.
  • Wear a wide-brimmed hat to protect your face.
  • Wear full UVA and UVB protection sunglasses.
  • Apply sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher at least 20 minutes before going outside.
  • Apply lip balm with SPF 15 or higher.
