Mark the occasion with Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council on Oct. 16
You’re invited to join Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council in marking Diwali with a vibrant celebration on Thursday, Oct. 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).
The City of Vaughan’s third annual Diwali event will feature greetings from Mayor Del Duca, traditional music and dance performances, and complimentary refreshments.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Confirm your attendance for the event online.
Diwali is a major religious festival for Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists that brings families together to reflect, give thanks and look toward the promise of the new year ahead.
