About the licences
A licence is required to operate as a refreshment vehicle owner or driver in the City of Vaughan.

Refreshment vehicle owner
- Type 1 - catering truck/ice cream truck: This licence is required to own a catering or ice cream truck where food or drinks are sold that another person is operating within the city of Vaughan.
- Type 2 - hot dog cart: This licence is required to own a hot dog cart where food or drinks are sold that another person is operating within the city of Vaughan.
- Type 3 - push cart: This licence is required to own a push cart or any muscle-powered cart where food or drinks are sold that another person is operating within the city of Vaughan.
Refreshment vehicle driver
- Type 1 - catering truck/ice cream truck: This licence is required to operate a catering or ice cream truck where food or drinks are sold.
- Type 2 - hot dog cart: This licence is required to operate any hot dog cart where food or drinks are sold.
- Type 3 - push cart: This licence is required to operate any push cart or any muscle powered cart where food or drinks are sold.
