Project timeline
- 2019: Design consultants retained, pre-design begins
- 2019: Preliminary design
- 2020: Detailed design - community engagement
- 2021-2022: Construction
- 2023: Community centre partially open!
- 2024: Pool remains closed for renovations
Construction Progress
March 2024
- Ongoing fire alarm system testing that may cause some disruption but will be kept to a minimum
- Pool fire alarm system rectification is ongoing
- Pool changerooms have been completed but will remain offline until pool is opened for public use
- Ongoing general construction deficiencies are being addressed
- Wayfinding signage installation is in progress
- Installation of exterior metal paneling is in progress
- New exterior Splash pad equipment has been installed. Inspection and testing to be performed in Spring
- New exterior exit stair and ramp is in progress
- Finished landscaping is scheduled for completion in Spring
