Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Electric vehicles (EVs) are growing in demand – and the City of Vaughan is on board for the ride.
We’ve added additional EV charging stations at select City facilities across the community that are available for public use!
Currently, the City offers EV charging stations with a total of 50 connections across the following locations:
- Al Palladini Community Centre (9201 Islington Ave.)
- Bathurst Clark Resource Library (900 Clark Ave. W.)
- Carrville Community Centre, District Park and Library (655 Thomas Cook Ave.)
- Civic Centre Resource Library (2191 Major Mackenzie Dr.)
- Fire Station 7-2 (9290 Keele St.)
- Joint Operations Centre (2800 Rutherford Rd.)
- Maple Community Centre and Library (10190 Keele St.)
- North Maple Regional Park (11085 Keele St.)
- Vaughan City Hall, east parking lot (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.)
- Vellore Village Community Centre (1 Villa Royale Ave.)
All locations are equipped with Level 2 FLO EV chargers, providing a reliable and efficient charging experience.
Fees for use
Charging fees are $2 per hour for the first four hours, and $3.50 per hour thereafter. Charging fees are based on time, which is standard practice across many municipalities. This reflects access to the charging station rather than a constant power level. As charging power may vary during a session (e.g. due to shared usage), pricing cannot be adjusted in real time. This approach ensures fair access for all users and supports the efficient operation of the charging network.
Users can download a compatible EV charging app on their smartphone to register and pay per use. The app can also be used to locate nearby charging stations, access usage tips and more.
