JUNO Award winner Preston Pablo is one of Canada’s fastest-rising R&B/pop artists, with over 3.6 million monthly Spotify listeners and viral hits like “Dance Alone” and multiplatinum "Flowers Need Rain". He’s featured on Karan Aujla’s record-breaking Punjabi album and has collaborated with global artists from Colombia to Nigeria. After touring the U.S. with Jon Vinyl, Preston is set to release his new single “One Last Song” this fall.
Emcee: Maria Papadakis, a dynamic media personality and producer based in Toronto. She currently serves as a talent and producer for the Roz and Mocha Show on KiSS 92.5 FM. In addition to her radio work, Maria is the Digital Host and In-Stadium Host for Toronto FC, engaging fans both online and at live events.

There’s no onsite parking available. There’s park-and-walk available near the event, with limited parking spots at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Elementary School.

No, the event is FREE to attend! Enjoy the full experience without any admission cost. Registration is not required.

Absolutely! The event is family-friendly and offers activities for all ages. Everyone is welcome!6. Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own picnic items, snacks, and drinks. We’ll also have a wide variety of food and beverages available for purchase from local vendors!7. Can I bring my own chairs or blankets?
Yes, feel free to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on and enjoy the event at your leisure.8. Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome if they are leashed at all times. Please be mindful of the crowd and other attendees.9. What types of entertainment will there be?

Yes, we’ll have portable washrooms available. Accessible washrooms are also available.12. Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the event is fully wheelchair accessible, including pathways, seating areas, and restrooms.13. Are there any COVID-19 precautions in place?

Yes! Shuttle buses will be available to transport attendees to and from the event site, making it easier to get to the event. More details on schedule will be available on our website.16. Can I bring a stroller/wheelchair onto the shuttle bus?
Yes, all shuttle buses are accessible and can accommodate both strollers and wheelchairs.
16. Can I volunteer at the event?

18. Can I bring alcohol?
Alcohol is not permitted at this event. We encourage you to enjoy the variety of food and beverages available on-site.
19. Will alcohol be sold on site?
Alcohol will not be sold at the event. However, there will be a variety of other refreshments available for purchase.
20. Are there lockers on site?
Unfortunately, there will not be lockers available at the event. We recommend planning accordingly for your belongings.
21. Do the vendors take cash or only debit/credit?
Most vendors accept debit, credit, and cash; however, not all do, so we recommend bringing both cash and card just in case. Please note, there will be no ATMs available on-site.

Participants - what is needed before the deadline of Wednesday, June 11, 2025?
- Participant Agreement Form: Canada Day
- Payment
- $550 + HST for food vendors and businesses (Ice cream vendor spots are sold out for 2025)
- $250 + HST for not-for-profit organizations
- Pay online with credit card OR by cheque (see details on the agreement form)
- A Certificate of Insurance naming the Corporation of the City of Vaughan as an additional insured – use the City’s template
If you are unable to get a Certificate of Insurance, email vaughancelebrates@vaughan.ca to find out how to purchase one-day event insurance.
Food vendors also need to provide:
- The York Region Vendor Application Form will be sent directly to York Region Health Department and provided to Events Staff.
- Form is found under “Vendors”: Food Vendors - York Region Application
- Any applicable licences (restaurant licence, refreshment vehicle licence, etc.)
- Refreshment vehicles must provide a valid City of Vaughan Refreshment Vehicle Licence
- Refreshment vehicles that do not have a valid City of Vaughan Refreshment Vehicle Licence must apply for one through the City of Vaughan (additional fees apply)
- Non-refreshment vehicles must provide a restaurant or business license along with a food handler certificate.
What to expect as a participant (booths, food vendors)?
- 10'x10' spot unless you have a food truck or purchase additional spaces
- 1 table and 2 chairs will be provided and more can be rented for a small fee
- Situated on grass
- Many booth participants and food vendors bring a 10'x10' tent with tent weights (staking is not permitted); no tent, pavilion, etc. is provided
- Electrical access and Wi-Fi are not available
- Generators are not provided
