The City of Vaughan is committed to financial stewardship, sustainability and good governance – and our efforts have been recognized for the 16th consecutive year. The City is the recipient of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for Vaughan’s 2024 Budget Book (PDF).
Mayor Steven Del Duca issued the following statement after tonight’s Special Committee of the Whole (Budget) meeting where he led discussions on the City of Vaughan’s proposed 2025 Budget and 2026 Financial Plan (PDF):

This Ward 4 park, the first public park to open in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, offers a winter skating loop, splashpad and unique playgrounds. There are also benches, trees for shade, a pavilion with accessible restrooms, a community-use room for events and a Zamboni garage.
