New Pickleball Courts Coming to Le Parc Park
The City of Vaughan is serving up more pickleball at Le Parc Park (172 Connie Cres.) with the addition of eight new dedicated pickleball courts, bringing the total to 12.
On Sept. 18, Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council gathered to celebrate this exciting milestone for Vaughan's growing pickleball community.
The first phase of the project was completed in November 2024. It transformed an existing tennis court into four dedicated pickleball courts with new playing surfaces and LED lighting. Since opening, the courts have been well used by residents.
The second phase will add eight new dedicated courts on the west side of the park, making Le Parc Park one of Vaughan’s premier destinations for pickleball. The new courts will feature LED lighting, windscreens and paddle racks.
Other improvements will include:
- a new shade structure with lighting and seating.
- benches, waste and recycling receptacles.
- new asphalt pathways connecting the parking lot to the pickleball courts, tennis court and soccer field.
- new LED pathway lighting.
- and more.
The new courts are expected to be open for play by fall 2027.
