Parking Enforcement in Vaughan is delivered by applying both a proactive and reactive methodology. Officers patrol the City, providing education and encouraging compliance with the Parking By-law and issue Tickets/ Penalty Notices for parking violations on City streets. Staff also patrol commercial and private property for disabled and fire route violations.
Although the City offers parking enforcement services on private property for a fee, private property enforcement is, for the most part, undertaken by private security companies that are authorized by the City to issue penalties.
The Parking By-law (No. 1-96), as amended, regulates parking in the City of Vaughan.
