Calling all businesses, not-for profits and food vendors! Apply today for the opportunity to participate in Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park 2026. Anticipated attendance at these popular concert events is approximately 1,500 per event date.

Participants - what is needed before the deadline of Wednesday, May 20, 2026?

  1. Participant Agreement Form: Concerts in the Park
  2. Payment
    1. $350 + HST for businesses, $250 + HST for not-for-profit organizations (price per concert event date)
    2. For 2026, the ice vendor price is discounted to $400 + HST (regularly $550 + HST). Ice cream vendor must be available for the entire series (with the exception of the Ward 2 concert). 
    3. Food Vendor are sold out
    4. Pay online with credit card OR by cheque (see details on the agreement form)
  3. A Certificate of Insurance naming the Corporation of the City of Vaughan as an additional insured – use the City’s template 
    1. If you are unable to get a Certificate of Insurance, email cityevents@vaughan.ca to find out how to purchase one-day event insurance.

      NOTE: If attending the Launch Concert, a Certificate of Insurance naming Penguin-Calloway (Vaughan) Inc., and SmartCentres Management Services Inc. as an additional insured is required.

       Food vendors also need to provide:

  4. The York Region Vendor Application Form will be sent directly to York Region Health Department and provided to Events Staff.
    1. Form is found under “Vendors”:  Food Vendors - York Region Application
  5. Any applicable licences (restaurant licence, refreshment vehicle licence, etc.)
    1. Refreshment vehicles must provide a valid City of Vaughan Refreshment Vehicle Licence
    2. Refreshment vehicles that do not have a valid City of Vaughan Refreshment Vehicle Licence must apply for one through the City of Vaughan (additional fees apply)
    3. Non-refreshment vehicles must provide a restaurant or business license along with a food handler certificate

 

What to expect as a participant (booths, food vendors)?

  • 10'x10' spot unless you have a food truck or purchase additional spaces
  • 1 table and 2 chairs will be provided and more can be rented for a small fee
  • Typically situated on grass
  • Many booth participants and food vendors bring a 10'x10' tent with tent weights (staking is not permitted); no tent, pavilion, etc. is provided
  • Electrical access and Wi-Fi are not available
  • Generators are not provided

The 2026 Vaughan Celebrates Sponsorship Opportunities Brochure features community feedback, media impressions, event highlights, a sampling of marketing campaign materials, and an informative guide outlining sponsor benefits per event, customizable to meet your marketing needs to reach thousands of Vaughan residents, businesses, and visitors.

Your contribution will help provide your community and customers with one of the best event programs, while taking advantage of an outstanding marketing and outreach opportunity in the City of Vaughan.

2. Is there an entrance fee? Do I have to register to attend? 

No, the event is FREE to attend! Enjoy the full experience without any admission cost. Registration is not required. 

 

3. Will the event be postponed due to inclement weather?

The events take place rain or shine. Check back on this webpage for updates.

 

4. Are there children allowed at the event? 

Absolutely! The event is family-friendly and offers activities for all ages. Everyone is welcome! 

 

5. Is there parking available? 

Parking on site is available but limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Alternative parking information is available soon.

 

6. Will there be shuttle buses? 

Shuttle buses will not be available for these events. We recommend utilizing our park-and-walk options or taking advantage of public transit for convenient access. 

 

7. Can I bring my own food and drinks? 
Yes, you're welcome to bring your own picnic items, including snacks and drinks; however, BBQs are not permitted within the event site. We’ll also have food and beverages available for purchase from local vendors.  

 

8. Do the vendors take cash or only debit/credit? 

Most vendors accept debit, credit, and cash; however, not all do, so we recommend bringing both cash and card just in case. Please note, there will be no ATMs available on-site. 

 

9. Can I bring my own chairs or blankets? 
Yes, feel free to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on and enjoy the event at your leisure. Please note that tents and canopies are not permitted, as the event site must remain fully visible and accessible for guests of all ages. 

 

10. What should I bring to the event? 

We recommend bringing chairs, blankets, comfortable shoes, and an appetite for some delicious food! 

 

11. Can I bring alcohol? 

Alcohol is not permitted at this event. We encourage you to enjoy the variety of food and beverages available on-site. 

 

12. Will alcohol be sold on site? 

Alcohol will not be sold at the event. However, there will be a variety of other refreshments available for purchase. 

 

14. Are pets allowed? 
Pets are welcome if they are leashed at all times. Please be mindful of the crowd and other attendees. 

 

15. Will there be restrooms on site? 

Yes, washrooms are available. Accessible washrooms are also available. 

 

16. Are there lockers on site? 

Unfortunately, there will not be lockers available at the event. We recommend planning accordingly for your belongings.  

 

17. Is the event wheelchair accessible? 

Yes, the event is fully wheelchair accessible, including pathways, seating areas, and restrooms. 

 

18. Are there any COVID-19 precautions in place? 

We are following the local health guidelines to ensure a safe event for everyone. Please check our website for any updates as the event date approaches. 

 

19. Can I volunteer at the event?

20. Can I set up a booth for my business?

21. Will there be security and first aid on site? 

Yes, we will have first aid, security, and police personnel on-site to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
