Holiday Recreational Activities at Vaughan Community Centres
The Recreation & Culture Department offers family-friendly, drop-in leisure activities at recreation facilities across Vaughan during some of the holiday breaks throughout the year.
Winter Holiday Break: December 2015 to January 2016
Free recreational skating sponsored by Tim Hortons is available at Al Palladini, Garnet A. Williams and Maple arenas on select dates and times. In addition, the City’s outdoor rinks offer free, supervised recreational skating at scheduled times and unsupervised shinny hockey at all other times. Other recreational programs, available for a nominal fee, include swimming, aquafitness, drop-in badminton, basketball, family dodgeball, family yoga, adult and youth games room, and youth open gym, bocce, bowling and shinny hockey.

All facilities are closed December 25, 2015 and January 1, 2016.
Family Day: February 2016
Vaughan community centres are open on Family Day. In addition to regularly scheduled programs, Vaughan residents can enjoy special FREE Family Day activities. Families can also enjoy recreational swimming, bowling and youth basketball activities for a nominal fee. View activity schedules (citywide and location-specific) on this site.
March Break: 2016
Make the most of March Break at Vaughan Community Centres! FREE recreational swimming at select pools generously sponsored by Tim Hortons. Plus, drop-in activities such as arts & crafts, sports, skating & shinny hockey and fitness classes; please refer to the location-specific March Break activities under Holiday Activity Schedules.
Vaughan community centres are closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
