The City of Vaughan has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment study to further assess the need to extend Bass Pro Mills Drive, from Highway 400 to Weston Road, as recommended in the Vaughan Mills Centre Secondary Plan (2014).
The City values the voice of its citizens and is dedicated to promoting a dialogue with the community that is open, transparent, accessible, and inclusive. Consultation continues to be a key component of the study and Class EA process. The public was once again invited to join the conversation and have a say on the outcome of this Environmental Assessment and the future of Bass Pro Mills Drive with a virtual Public Information Centre that ran until September 16, 2021. Through a narrated presentation and comment form, participants were able to review the feedback heard to date and comment on the study, learn more about the traffic analysis and environmental investigations, review evaluations of alternative alignments and cross-sections, see the technically recommended design, and the next steps in the study process. Thanks to all who participated! The presentation is still available for information.
