Apply today to be a program instructor at Vaughan community centres
D
o you have a creative or culinary skill or are you a master at chess? Maybe you are a wellness guru or like to dance? The City of Vaughan’s Recreation Services department is hiring part-time program instructors, skate instructors, shinny hockey attendants, skate captains and skate patrol for its recreation programs at Vaughan community centres.
Programs and specialties looking to be filled include:
Ballet and ballroom dancing
Chess
Cooking
Cricket
Multimedia art
Photography
Preschool
Qigong
Skating (instruction and recreational)
STEM
Tai chi
Youth room supervision
To work with the City as a part-time program instructor, you must:
be eligible to work in Canada.
be 16 years of age or older.
have a Social Insurance Number.
complete and pass a Standard First Aid and CPR-C training.
have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
provide specialty certifications where required.
have received first and second doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine.
