As part of the Province’s response to the Omicron variant, Ontario transitioned into a modified Step 2 of its Roadmap to Reopen on Jan. 5. Updated measures include temporarily closing shopping mall food courts and indoor dining at restaurants, bars and other food or drink establishments, with takeout, drive-thru, delivery and outdoor dining with restrictions permitted. Additionally, the sale of alcohol after 10 p.m. is now prohibited as well as the consumption of alcohol on-premises in businesses or settings after 11 p.m., with delivery and takeout, grocery/convenience stores and other liquor stores exempted.
Open for Business
To help you find local stores and businesses to support, visit the City’s Open for Business online directory, which includes many services and Vaughan-based businesses that are open or providing modified operations in-person, by phone, online, takeout or delivery in compliance with provincial regulations. Vaughan businesses interested in being included in the list may apply through this online form.
As the global COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, the City remains committed to working with all levels of government to support entrepreneurs and small business owners.
