CITY OF VAUGHAN MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS 2018
The City of Vaughan he next municipal election is scheduled for October 22, 2018.
The City of Vaughan
is not currently seeking election officials
for the Municipal Election but please check back in early 2018 for any updates to this page.
Thank you to all the election officials who assisted with the successful delivery of the City of Vaughan 2014 municipal elections.
Election event pay has been processed and mailed November 17, 2014.
VOTING DAY TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT
The City of Vaughan will be recruiting for a variety of customer-service focused, temporary election officials to assist with the Municipal Elections on October 27, 2014.
When will Appointments be Made?
Appointments have started and notifications will be sent shortly asking you to select a training date.
Are Applications still be Accepted?
You may still submit your application. Should there be any positions that come available your application may be considered.
Who Can Apply?
18 years of age or older;
Legally entitled to work in Canada;
Excellent customer service and election official experience preferred;
Knowledge of other languages commonly spoken in the City of Vaughan are an asset;
Comfortable with and/or experience using optical scan automated vote counting tabulators;
For the positions of MDRO, TDRO and single poll DRO’s, individuals must have use of a vehicle on Voting Day;
Ability to work well both independently and as a team; and
Available to attend a required training session up to two weeks prior to Voting Day.
Applicants cannot be a candidate or the spouse, sibling, parent, child, grandparent or grandchild of a candidate running in the October 27, 2014 Municipal Elections.

Both the quiz and application form must be submitted through one of the options below:

Once you have submitted your online application an email will be sent to you with further instructions.
