Special Needs

Do you believe everyone deserves the right to participate in recreation? We do!
If you’re a caring person who wants to help individuals with disabilities live their best life, then a part-time job in integration is for you. A day at work will see you providing one-on-one support to an individual with special needs as they enjoy a range of recreational activities: from cooking and crafting to playing bocce or bowling. It’s excellent experience if you’re considering a career in social work – or just want a feel-good job that makes a difference in your community.

Wonder what it’s like to love your job? Watch our video! Go behind the scenes and find out from our rec team what it’s like to work at a Vaughan community centre!
