WOODBRIDGE AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS AND STREETSCAPING
Woodrbridge Avenue Improvements and Streetscaping Project
Page Content

The Woodbridge Avenue improvements have begun!

The City of Vaughan is making important infrastructure enhancements along Woodbridge Avenue, from Kipling Avenue to Islington Avenue. Work includes watermain replacements, sanitary sewer enhancements and road upgrades. In addition to the underground infrastructure work, the City is also restructuring the road, providing on-street parking, upgrading traffic signals, updating the street lighting and walkways, and adding new streetscaping and landscaping features.

While construction is underway, Woodbridge Avenue is still open for business. Citizens are encouraged to continue to support local stores, restaurants and organizations throughout the duration of the project.

Another information session was hosted on June 22, where residents had the opportunity to learn more about the project, including timelines, planned work and more. Staff were available to address questions in both English and Italian. View the project display boards from the drop-in session (PDF).
