On October 18, 2004, Vaughan
Council directed that the Maple Community be studied for the purpose
of creating a Heritage Conservation District in accordance with
the policies contained within the Maple Community Plan (OPA 350)
and Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990. Obtaining public
input will be an integral part of the Maple Heritage Conservation
District Study and Plan. A map of the study area is shown below.
A series of Public Consultation Meetings have been held to inform
and educate the members of the community about the Maple Community
Heritage Conservation District Study. This information has been examined and incorporated into a Draft
- Maple Village Heritage Conservation District Study.
