Online Visitor Parking Permits
The City of Vaughan Parking Bylaw 1-96 prohibits street parking between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Visitor Overnight Parking Permits are available through successful completion of the form below or at the City Hall By-law and Compliance Department, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Permits are limited to five (5) nights per calendar month, per license plate.
NOTE:  Visitor Parking Permits are only available for out of town guests and are not intended for Resident use.  Resident vehicles found to be parked displaying visitor permits will be tagged and may be towed at the owner's expense.  In addition, vehicles found with permits displaying a different license plate number than that on the vehicle will also be tagged and may be restricted from receiving future permits.

Visitor Parking Permits only exempt vehicles from the overnight parking bylaw. They do not provide exemption from other parking infractions, such as:

-Parking within 3 metres of a fire hydrant
-Parking within a “No Park” or “No Stop” zone
-Parking within 9 metres of an intersection
-Parking within 0.6 metres of a private roadway
-Interfering with snow clearing operations (minimum 5cm or more of snowfall)
-Parking left wheels to the curb
-Parking on private property

All fields below are required. Successful completion of the application process will require a valid email address and printing capabilities. The permit is required to be displayed, clearly visible, on the driver’s side dashboard of the vehicle. Failure to display the permit may result in the issuance of a penalty notice.


**NOTE:  Should you encounter any technical difficulties with obtaining your permit, please email "parking.permit@vaughan.ca, include the following information: 

-  Name of Applicant (include your contact information)

-  Date and time you attempted to apply for the permit

-  Vehicle license plate number(s),

- Browser (ie: Exploer, Google Chrome etc)

- Operating system (ie: Microsoft, Windows 7 , Apple etc)

- Type of device (ie: laptop, desktop, iPad etc.) 


Notice of Collection of Personal Information
This application may contain personal information as defined under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. This information is collected under the legal authority of the Municipal Act, 201, S.O. 2001 c.25, as amended and The Highway Traffic Act R.S.O. 1990, as amended. This information will be used by the City of Vaughan to process this application and will become part of the Penalty Notice, Parking Infraction Notice and/or Prosecution files where applicable.
