Vaughan is ready to plow, windrow and salt throughout winter storms
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning, calling for 15-25 centimetres of snow and ice accumulations tomorrow. The national weather agency said the snow will start early in the morning, which will then mix with or change to ice pellets later in the day. The City of Vaughan is prepared with high-level plowing, road maintenance and windrow services. The City has dedicated more than 100 vehicles to remove snow and ice from roads and sidewalks and is the only municipality in the Greater Toronto Area to offer full windrow service to its residents.

Mayor Bevilacqua marks 30th annual Winterfest
Marking an important milestone, the 30th annual award-winning Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest returned to Vellore Village Community Centre on Feb. 10. Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua formally began festivities with a keynote address alongside Members of Council and local dignitaries.
